Aside from their awesome and mysterious ad campaign, we haven’t seen or heard much about Halo 5: Guardians since it was announced back in May 2014.

Now, Game Informer‘s upcoming issue is going to hit stands later this month with a whole lotta details, and lucky for us, some of those have already been made public.

Among the news excited gamers have been buzzing about today, one of the biggest new tidbits is that actor Nathan Fillion will be reprising his role as Gunnery Sergeant turned Spartan, Edward Buck. Fillion has previously voiced Eddie in Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. This time around, you’ll also be able to enjoy the actor’s visage in stunning graphics as his face is being used for the character.

Some other exciting news is that there will be a new multiplayer mode with 20 maps (followed by 15 free DLC maps), the Blue Team will play its largest role yet, and if you play as either Chief or Locke you’ll have a team of three A.I. that you can issue orders to.

Halo 5: Guardians comes out October 27 this year. Are you ready?
