It’s certainly taken long enough, but now the newest Dragon Ball Z movie is coming out for North American audiences.
Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ was released in Japan on April 28 and, now, the first English language trailer has finally been released. The dubbed version will have a limited release from August 4-12 of this year.
This latest movie is a sequel to 2013’s Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, and fans will be excited to know that it revolves around Freeza being brought back to life by the wish granting dragon Shenlong. Freeza is easily the manga’s most famous villain, and I still remember how stressful it was to watch reruns of his episodes on Cartoon Network back in the day. Well now he’s back—and with a new, fifth form—ready to take on the remaining Saiyans and their friends.
This trailer should also help pump you up for the entire new season of Dragon Ball, called Dragon Ball Super, which premieres on Japanese TV on July 5.
Here’s the first trailer for the new “Dragonball Z” movie, and you won’t believe what villain is back!
