Our WTF Moment of the Week.
I hate spiders. I repeat: I hate spiders.
Out of the many strange and wonderful phobias in the world, arachnophobia is surely one of the most well known and widely experienced. Luckily, many of us will never even counter large or giant spiders in our lifetimes, so we’ll just have to deal with those pesky house spiders for now.
As it turns out, however, there are some people out there who do have to interact with monster spiders. Worse yet, some of them choose to do so, even going so far as to work with them every day. I feel lightheaded already.
One such person is Lisa Donovan, who has years and years of experience working with the eight-legged creatures. As she sometimes shows off on her YouTube page, she loves spiders, and they love her right back.
Most recently, she posted the following video of her playing with her Australian golden orb-weaver, Coraline. In the video’s description, Donovan describes Coraline as “gentle” yet “intimidating.” Clearly Lisa isn’t afraid, however, because she lets the giant spider crawl right across her face!

I can’t even watch this video. This lady is CRAZY!
