The internet is geeking out so hard right now.

Whether or not you know its name or how to pronounce it, everyone knows Mjolnir, Thor’s Hammer. (PS: it’s “meol-near”.) Big Thor fans will also know that pretty much only Thor himself–plus a handful of other Marvel characters, depending on comic continuity–is capable of picking up the hammer, which is one of the weapon’s most famous characteristics.

Existing since antiquity, the hammer comes from the Mjölnir of Norse mythology and roughly means “The Crusher” or “The Grinder.” It was originally given to Odin by Dwarven blacksmiths, considered an extremely beautiful gift and powerful weapon although the handle came out shorter than intended due to a trick of Loki’s. Odin later passed it onto Thor, who has no problem wielding it one handed.

Out of all Marvel canon, it’s pretty safe to say that Mjolnir is a fan favorite when it comes to weapons. Marvel’s Cinematic Universe has made the hammer even cooler as an essential part of battle scenes and standard plots. Perhaps most famous of all are the scenes from Thor and Avengers: Age of Ultron that show normal humans as well as the Avengers trying their hardest to lift the hammer, à la Sword in the Stone. But thanks to one man, this is now happening in real life.

Only he is worthy of this amazing prank…
