You probably hear Titanic and think of one of the greatest human tragedies of modern history, or otherwise of a star-crossed romance between Jack and Rose. But now, for the first time, you can experience Titanic as a video game.

To mark the 103rd anniversary of the ship’s sinking in the North Atlantic on April 14-15, 1912, the creative team at CineFix released this admittedly awesome – THOUGH VERY INSENSITIVE AND IN POOR TASTE – (yet still awesome) video of the ship’s tragedy reimagined as an 8 and 16-bit video game. It even features a classic-sounding, robotic version of the movie’s score.

Does it make you more nostalgic for the 1,500 passengers who died, or for the video games of your childhood?

Ever wondered what “Titanic” would look like as a classic video game? No? Well here it is anyway.
