The iPod Classic MP3 player is selling online for as much $900. But not at Apple.com.

Apple discontinued making the iPod Classic back in September because the company no longer had access to the components, and a redesign would have been too demanding. But this Christmas, it’s the iPod that’s really demanding.

These days, iPod sales are down. People are listening to music downloaded onto their smartphones or are simply streaming their tunes. However, the iPod Classic can hold up to 40,000 songs! More than any iPod for sale in stores today.

With a high demand of people wanting the old school iPod–after all, it is a part of history– the device is now selling on average 4 times what it cost originally.

I guess those who want to listen to music on a brick dinosaur like the classic iPod think different.

People are paying 4 times as much for the iPod Classic. Find out why!
