Hulkamania could be running wild — and evil — pretty soon, brother.
Or at least that’s the hint Hulk Hogan (61) dropped at the Body Power Expo in Birmingham, England last week. According to the wrestler, he and pal Sylvester Stallone — who helped launch Hogan to stardom through a role in Rocky III — might team up again on the silver screen in The Expendables 4.
Sylvester Stallone has been promising that another Expendables is in the works, only this time he said it will muster an R rating with no apologies. The Expendables 3 was released in 2014 to lackluster domestic reviews but surprising success at the international box office. Stallone blamed the film’s failure in part on the PG-13 rating, which he believed held back the action movie from its full potential.
According to Hogan,
“Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing ‘The Expendables 4.’ We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break and he’s been a great friend. We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out.”
Good to see he’s as ridiculous as ever.
