Boom goes the dynamite, er, red shell.
Nintendo just announced that it is coming out with an update for the Wii U game Mario Kart 8, which was released in 2014, and one of the update’s features is drawing a lot of attention.
For the first time in Mario Kart‘s 23-year history, players will be able to race in 200cc mode– the fastest ever.
This will require increased precision and skill while blasting down old courses as well as new tracks that will be available only with the update. Originally set to release in May, Mario Kart 8 owners will now be able to download the new features on April 23. For around $8, this second update will also include new karts, new tracks, and new characters.
Are you ready to race?
Forget 150cc, this new update will be the fastest “Mario Kart” yet! See the trailer here!
