The recent flooding in Texas has caused a lot of tragedy, but it also led to this unexplained phenomenon.
A video uploaded by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department shows some incredible (and disgusting) footage of dozens of worm balls — filled with hundreds of worms — lined up in a road at Eisenhower State Park.
This video might make your skin crawl, but it’s also pretty cool. Have you ever seen anything like this? Scientists were only able to assume that the worms “migrated” together to escape from drowning in the floods. How they all ended up in a straight line, or covered by mud, in giant piles is still a mystery.
This looks more like brains at a zombie buffet! Can you get through this video without getting the heebie-jeebies?
YUCK. What would you even do if you saw these worm balls in the street?
