Peter Griffin came to life when Robert Franzese went to the 2014 New York Comic Con this year, cosplaying as the “charming” dad from Family Guy. His insanely accurate impression of the cartoon caught the attention of the show’s creator, Seth MacFarlane, who retweeted aYouTube video of Franzese on Wednesday. While cosplaying, Franzese wears Peter’s classic white button-down shirt, a pair of green pants, and round glasses, but he really stuns everyone with his spot-on vocal impression. The cosplayer has become somewhat of a celebrity at several conventions, like New York Comic Con. Robert reveals in the clip that his Peter Griffin impression wasn’t difficult to develop:
“Impressions just really came naturally to me. So I slapped together stuff that I had. … and was like, great, Peter Griffin. Just one stupid joke, where I go to the ATM, and I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, I won!’ And from then on, it’s just caught like wildfire.”

Franzese signs off in his video with a humble and deeply personal statement.
The incredible impersonator claims thathe is no more special than anybody else. “I’m like anobody. I have a nobody job, making nobody pay.”
He continues bydescribing his experiencewhen he goes to Comic-Con:
“People are pulling out phones like I’m freaking Brad Pitt. It makes me feel like a million bucks. It’s the reactions that I get out of what I do that gives me the joy of what I do.”
