You’ve waited 11 years and now Bethesda Softworks has released an 11-second teaser for the newest installment in the Doom video game franchise.
Well, actually, there’s only about a three-second glimpse of actual gameplay in the teaser, which dropped earlier today (May 18). From what we can see, however, it looks pretty sick (AKA three seconds of a Revenant screaming and shooting).
The new Doom, originally thought to be called Doom 4, has been a long time coming with the project being totally scrapped back in 2011 and a more extensive trailer released last June (watch below).
From what we know so far, this new game will be a complete reboot of the series, as opposed to a sequel or continuation. At the moment, there is no set release date, although player should expect for it to be made available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One simultaneously.
Blink and you’ll miss it. Here’s your very first glimpse at the new “Doom”!
