Coloring is coming. Lots of it.
According to reports, A Song of Ice and Fire author George R. R. Martin is overseeing the production of a 45-image coloring book as a companion to his bestselling novels and the resulting series, Game of Thrones.
The publishing company, Bantam, announced on June 8 that the book, which will come out this fall, will “feature 45 original black and white illustrations, inspired by characters, scenes, locations and other iconic images” from Westeros and across the Narrow Sea. The art will be drawn by fantasy illustrators Yvonne Gilbert, John Howe, Levi Pinfold, Adam Stower, and Tomislav Tomic.
But really, between the Red Keep, the Ruby Fork, and the Red Wedding, I think we all know what color we’re going to be using the most of.
Until then, you need to check out this online GoT coloring book. You’re welcome.
